| As we compiled updates from our RP-CWY participants, we continue to discover the accomplishments of past participants who carried on the ideals of Canada World Youth, making a difference in the fields they have chosen, impacted the communities they lived in and those whose lives they have affected. Every month, we will honor these individuals. This month we salute: NORMAN BOUDREAU, RP-CWY 1981-82 (Children's Rights Advocacy) |

"Today (Feb. 28, 2008) is a huge day for Beyond Borders. After years of lobbying, Canada raised the age of consent to sexual consent from 14 to 16 years old. This is a huge protection for Canadian children. Canada ’s age of sexual consent was one of the lowest in the world. To find out more about Beyond Borders please visit www.beyondborders.org."
